In December 2021, AGC Glass Europe, a European producer of flat glass, and Deceuninck, a company that specializes in the research and production of PVC and aluminium window and door profiles, entered into a strategic partnership. Incorporating the former's Fineo vacuum glass into the latter's PVC and aluminium profiles of the Elegant and Decalu series, respectively, is made possible by the combination's new inventive ideas. The Fineo vacuum glazing, which has only two panes of glass but a thickness as low as 6 mm, offers a solution with qualities that are comparable to and even better than those of triple glazing. This Fineo glazing uses fewer raw resources, is significantly lighter, and is completely recyclable.
